Commonwealth Games of Delhi. & Corruption

For last fortnight, the topic all over the news channels are that of corruption in Commonwealth Games of Delhi. I am surprised to know that it has become an issue at all. Corruption is part of our lives. Take any politician or Bureaucrat or any other government officials, (sincere ones please excuse) everybody becomes rich ones they get a job in government. If anybody (a sane with little commonsense person can know where the money came from) will amass wealth that can only be dreamed by a common man. With the pay packets they get, our Tatas, Birlas and Ambanis should learn from these geniuses, how to make such huge money with so much little income. Whether its a Village Panchayath Member, MLA, or MP, or Public Works Department Official or a Police inspector or a District collector, take his or her assets before he or she get her post or job. And find out what his/her assets after 5 years, one will be amazed to see the increase in their portfolio. It will be like they save the whole income and still it will be like many many more times that their income.

So when a Kalmadi or for that matter any other administrator is involved in curruption, it is not an issue at all. Only his mistake is he got caught.

If all the officials work without asking for bribe, the work that is costing Rs.100 can be done with just the half of that money.

Even a fool would have understood that when a refrigerator is available for Rs.6000/ why one should pay a rent of Rs.9000/ for 45 days. But not our officials. they would say they got it cheap at Rs.9000/. A government construction which cost Rs.2000/ per Sq.Ft, a common man gets a better construction for Rs.1000/. Still our Babus are saying that they got the cost very cheap.

Already they have spent more than Rs.35000 crores. I will be surprised if actual amount is more than Rs.20000 crores. But nobody can do anything. That is our fate. Unless we as common man start punishing these crooks, there is no future for us.

God save India!!!!!!!!!!

Naxalism

Naxalism or Maoism, a bane in Indian democratic history. From 70s this started and for the last four dacades it is going on from one state to another.
India, a domocratic country, is supposed to be ruled by the majority. (it is a sad story that never in the independent Indian history, even once India was ruled by the majority vote, ie. more than 50% of popular votes poled.) But the Maoists wants to rule the country without participating in the democratic process and take over the power with the help of Gun. In a country with a population of more than 1.1o Billion people, including the sympathisers of Maoists will not be more than 10 Million people. It is less than 1% of the population.

But, the saddest part of Indian polity is that even with about 3% of popular vote (TMC 3.20% and DMK1.83%) dictate terms to the ruling coalition. And the major party has to take the whims and fancies of these party chiefs ( All the parties are one man parties other that BJP and to a certain extent Congress). A Karunanidhi, A Mamta Banerjee, A Lallu Prasad Yadav, A Mulayam, A Mayawathi. Take away these personality and the parties they represent is a void. And for a few votes these unscrupulous politicians support or symathise with these anti social elements like the Maoisits.
When Police or securtiy agencies kill a Maoist, our so called Human Right Activists appear on the scene and shout from the rooftop. But when innocent people are killed in scores, these HRAs abscond from the scene.
Today in India, all the rights are with the criminals and antisocial elements. Comman man has no right whatsoever. His life has no meaning. No value other that at the time of elections.
I would like to do what Isreal or Srilanka did with the terrorism or anti social elements. Eliminate them from the scene. May be in doing so a few innocents may suffer. But it is a price worth paying, instead of suffering for ever.

Where are the Secularists now?

Recenctly there was a news Item that the temple land in Pakistan was grabbed by none other than their own military establishment. Had anything happened in India of our so called minority community our secularists would have been up in arms with all sorts of allegations against the majority community. But today I can not see even one saying anything against the irregularity committed by the majority community in their country, the so called minority community of our country.
